On Thursday, January 30, 2020 Assistant Professor Dr. Nattawut Dusadee, Acting Vice President of Maejo University represented the university to attend an MOU signing ceremony with Maejo Municipality on Volunteer Spirit Project to prevent and resolve forest fires and haze problems in the main meeting room, 3rd Floor of Maejo Municipality Office. In the MOU, both parties agreed to take steps jointly to prevent and resolve the haze problem, to campaign for people to participate in the project to reduce burning, organize training activities, promote the production of compost, organic fertilizers, and promote the knowledge of organic farming without burning. Besides, both would jointly monitor the project and expressed their common intention to take care of the environment seriously.
