Maejo University participated in the 10th Annual Academic Conference of the Sustainable University Network of Thailand (SUN Thailand), led by Assistant Professor Dr. Saenwasan Yodkham, Assistant to the President of Maejo University, along with the team from the University Ranking for Sustainability Committee. The conference was held at Chulalongkorn University on February 2-3, 2026.
At this academic conference, Maejo University presented 6 selected papers from across the country. These included sustainable development projects by students and universities in the network, personnel projects, and projects by students from the College of Renewable Energy and Maejo University-Phrae Chalermprakiat. Maejo University received 2 presentation awards as follows:
First Prize for Oral Presentation on Sustainability: Empowering Youth as Change Agents: Youth-Led Zero Waste Initiatives Transforming Knowledge, Attitudes, and Behaviors for Sustainable Communities

First Runner-up Award for Oral Presentation on Sustainability from the Burn-Free Forest Project, Community Forest Cooperation Network, Wiang Haeng District, Chiang Mai Province, conducted by Assistant Professor Dr. Saenwasan Yodkham, Assistant to the Rector.
