On Monday of March 15, 2021, Ajarn Jakkaphong Chaiwong, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Production, and Prof. Dr. Paramin Naratha, a lecturer under the Sustainable Social Development Program gave money to support the Forest Fire Prevention and Control Operation Center. They also went for an academic service about forest fire prevention and mitigation in the area of Mae Faek Mai Sub-district, San Sai District, Chiang Mai Province by using technology to monitor vulnerable areas and to coordinate burned areas by using drones to reduce the risk of having staff investigated in the area and to discuss ways to manage forest fires in a participatory manner such as to co-operate with the departments of Chiang Mai Province, Mae Krua Chedi Municipality, San Sai District and Maejo University.
