On Tuesday, May 12, 2020, Dr. Kasit Phisitkul, Vice Chairman of the Maejo University Affairs Promotion Committee presided over the opening ceremony of the electric car service within the university campus. Its main purposes were to driving the Green University policy, to make the transportation on the campus convenient and safe, to reduce car and motorcycle accidents, to reduce car and motorcycle use, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the university area, and to facilitate On Tuesday, May 12, 2020, Dr. Kasit Phisitkul, Vice Chairman of the Maejo University Affairs Promotion Committee presided over the opening ceremony of the electric car service within the university campus. There are 4 shuttle cars on service at Maejo University. They are 2 15-seat electric golf carts, 1 14-seat electric car, and 1 6-seat electric car. The first service time is from 8:30 am. – 10:30 am. and the second time is from 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. There are 2 routes:

• The Red route is about 2 km and it takes about 30 minutes/around. It starts from Chamchuri Road – Pikul – Sompo – Phra Pirun – Ratchaphruek – and finally finishes at Terdkasikorn Building (Canteen).
• The Blue Route is about 3 km and it takes about 40-45 minutes/around. It starts from Chao Ho Road – Ratchapruek – Inthanin – International Training Center – Permpoon Building – Agronomy Building – Faculty of Fisheries Technology Building – Faculty of Economics – Green canteen – Inthanin Road – and finally finishes at Terdkasikorn Building (Canteen).
