On Thursday, March 26, 2020, Maejo University in collaboration with Nawa Tech Co., Ltd. sprayed Nano-9 Silver Spray to kill the coronavirus 19 disease in all areas of the university. This chemical product works better than alcohol and can be effective for 7-14 days. Associate Professor Dr. Weeraphon Thongma, the President of Maejo University said, “Maejo University has taken intensive measures to prevent the spread of the COVID 19 virus in the university. This Nano-9 Silver Spray is a research product invented by Associate Prof. Dr. Rapeepan Daengtanky, Dean of International College, Maejo University, and Former Head of the Research Center for Nano Industry and Bio-Plastics of the King Mongkut’s University of Technology at North Bangkok. It is safer than other substances. We would like to thank him very much for inventing this wonderful product. Besides, we would like to thank Assistant Professor Dr. Prapakorn Tarachai, Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science and Technology who led the Animal Science Team to help us as the main force in the spraying of the Nano-9 Silver Spray and now we are sure that Maejo University is safe from the COVID-19.
