On Tuesday, March 24, 2020, Associate Professor Dr. Weeraphon Thongma, President of Maejo University supported and expressed his gratitude to the Faculty of Animal Science and Technology team of Maejo University for organizing an animal science volunteer activity led by Assistant Professor Dr. Prapakorn Tharachai, Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science and Technology and Assistant Professor Dr. Krisda Chukiatsiri, Deputy Dean for Administration, Dr. Phacharaphon Tadi, Lecturer of the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Technology and the Husbandry Scholars to lead the student team in the field of animal science spraying disinfectant to prevent the risk of an outbreak of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The activity was held during March 24 – 27, 2020 when the faculty members trained the students and the team on how to perform their duties properly for their safety. They then sprayed disinfectants inside the classroom buildings, offices, and different rooms on each floor of the various faculties at Maejo University to make sure that Maejo University was safe from the coronavirus virus.
