On September 18, 2019, Lecturer Chat Phacharathammakul, Acting for Vice President of Maejo University, presided over the opening ceremony of Maejo University Project moving towards a green university. The main purpose of the training was to educate the trainees on the guidelines for assessing a green university. The training was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Siam Arun-Sri-Morakot, Deputy Dean for Environmental Quality Standards and International Relations of Mahidol University, who was an expert in the area of green university operations as a guest speaker. This training was to prepare the readiness of the university for the operation of a green university and to raise the Green University Ranking. In this event, many university administrators, lecturers, representatives, students, and interested persons participated in the training which was held at Sai Nam Phueng Room in Maejo University Library Office.
