Maejo University conducts a project to plant trees to reduce global warming and move towards a green university

On Saturday, June 29, 2019, Maejo University Activity Promotion Committee and Maejo University organized a tree planting project to reduce global warming. Dr. Worapong Nantapiwat, the Chair of the Maejo University Activity Promotion Committee, presided over the project and delivered 35 Bunnag trees (Ironwood or Indian rose chestnut or Mesua ferrea L.) to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weerapon Thongma, Acting President of Maejo University and administrator team. Then they jointly planted the trees in various places according to Maejo University’s strategy heading to Green University at the Tiger, Lion, Bull, and Rhino Zoo at Maejo University.
