Maejo University organizes “Cycling to Reduce Carbon” activity aiming towards Eco University.

On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Associate Professor Chakkraphong Phimphimon, Vice President of Maejo University, presided over the opening of the “Carbon Reduction Cycling” activity under the MJU Green University 2024 project to drive the sustainability of Maejo University towards Eco University in accordance with the university’s policy and to campaign for students, faculty, and staff of Maejo University to be aware of reducing air pollution and to be in line with being a green university, a university of life.

The activity provided knowledge about carbon reduction, waste separation, cycling, and walking, with approximately 300 executives, students, staff, alumni, and Maejo Bicycle Club participating in the activity at the Phae Phut Building and various areas at Maejo University. In addition to campaigning to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, this activity also helps reduce greenhouse gases that cause global warming. It also promotes exercise in another way.
