On Wednesday, February 26, 2020, Associate Professor Dr. Weeraphon Thongma, Acting President of Maejo University, as the representative of the university signed an MOU on Maejo Centennial Botanical Park Project with Mr. Boonrak Thanacharoenroj, an Alumnus in Batch 54 of Maejo Universityat in the University Council Meeting Room, 5th Floor in the University Office Building. This project was initiated jointly between the university and Mr. Boonrak Thanacharoenroj as an alumnus to renovate an area within the university campus to be Maejo Centennial Botanical Park in the occasion that Maejo University is moving towards the 100th year of its establishment (from 1934 -2577). Besides, it aims to make the university be a leading organic university nationwide in the field of environment conservation and a Green University that can be a model for the society in cost-effective management of resources.
