On August 28, 2019, Maejo University organized a special lecture and intensive tutoring to driving the university towards a green university. The tutoring received an honor from Associate Professor Dr. Siam Arun-Sri-Morakot, Deputy Dean for Environmental Quality Standards and International Relations of Mahidol University. He was an expert in green university operations as a guest speaker. The lecture was delivered at the University Council Meeting Room, 5th Floor in the University Office Building. This special lecture was an activity at Maejo University Moving towards a Green University Project. In the first part of the lecture, the lecturer talked about his knowledge and experience to guide the development of green university operations and raise the level of the Green University ranking to the University Executive Committee. Then he gave a lecture to the representatives of the organizations within the university and the Green Office Committee to gain knowledge and understanding regarding the implementation and development of the Green Office. These were key factors that would drive the university to become a green university and be ready to be assessed for a better rank.
