On Thursday, May 23, 2019, Maejo University organized an activity to give air purifiers to the library under the P.M.2.5 Dust Pollution Solution Project. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weerapol Thongma, Acting President of Maejo University presided over the ceremony to deliver 4 air purifiers to the library and Mrs. Arisara Singpan, Director of the Library Office was the recipient. The air purifiers were to be used to support the safety from dust and pollution (Safety Zone), which would be promoted and campaigned for the students and university personnel to participate such as reducing pollution from using vehicles and encouraging the use of bicycles or walking in the university area to reduce air pollution. This activity was conducted according to the Green University policy and the ceremony was held at Fai Kham Room in the main university library.
