On Thursday, April 18, 2019, Maejo University Organized a project to solve the problem of PM 2.5 dust pollution with the honor of Prof. Dr. Weeraponthong, Acting President of Maejo University as the chair. He delivered an opening speech mentioning solutions to the PM. 2.5 pollution problem of Maejo University to the participants of the activity. There was also a demonstration of a simple “air purifier” presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nikran Homduang and Mr. Thanachat Mahawan from the College of Alternative Energy of Maejo University. The air purifier could be further used in the production of the household. After the demonstration and jointly inventing air purifiers, they were given to various organizations at Maejo University. The activities were held at the hall on the 1^st Floor 1 of the Office of the University Building.
