Regarding the epidemic of COVID-19 has spread widely, causing risks in all areas of Chiang Mai, Maejo University proactively checks the students, personnel, staff, shop operators in student dormitories, Terd Kasikorn canteens, and nearby areas to find those who are at risk of being exposed to the virus. The inspect result shows that of the 308 proactive tests, only 7 tested positive. The medical team diagnosed them as being exposed to green infection and were admitted to the MJU Hospitech (CI Center for treatment, Maejo University). The university has implemented a group of people at risk according to the measures of prevention and surveillance of public health strictly and prepares to re-examine on November 9, 2021.
As for the building, the university has closed the service area of ??the Terd Kasikorn canteen, sports fields, and nearby areas, as well as organizing special teams to spray disinfectants in sports fields, exercise areas, student dormitories in the university in order to prevent the spread of the disease in a timely manner. The university also emphasized that everyone adheres to strict measures to prevent the spread of disease in all areas.
