On Tuesday of August 17, 2021, Assistant Professor Dr. Nuttawut Dusadee, Vice President of Maejo University presided over the opening ceremony of “MJU sends bottles to help doctors to produce PPE kits” which the Physical and Environment Division together with the Green University Strategy Driving Committee on waste management and the Green Office, University Office, Section 4, Waste Management organized to collect PET bottles and send them to the social network named “Less Plastic Thailand” and allies to reduce waste. The bottles will be used to produce fibers and convert them into PPE sets, which are in short supply, to doctors and medical personnel at the front line to take care of patients with COVID-19. A lot of people from Maejo University participated in the activity continuously at the Phae Phuet Building, Maejo University. The first lot for an amount of 78.4 kilograms was ready to ship (17 Aug. 64), and it can be used to produce 261 sets of PPE kits to help the doctors.
