On Wednesday of May 19, 2021, Associate Professor Dr. Weerapol Thongma, the President of Maejo University presided over an opening ceremony on “Maejo Develops the University to a Green University” named A Big Cleaning Day of MAEJO Green Heart & Smart University at the same time in all areas on the campus and gave Silver Nano Products to every faculty, every office, and every department, to be used for cleaning and disinfecting in the affiliated departments. This activity was partly aimed to build confidence in the safety of the community, parents, students, and personnel, including preparing for the opening of teaching and learning in the first semester of the year. It received an honor from Mr. Siwa Thamikanon, Sansai District Chief, Mr. Yuttasart Chanthip, M.D., Deputy Director of Sansai Hospital, Col. Samphan Sirima, the Superintendent of Maejo Provincial Police Station, and Dr. Somchai Khiewdaeng, the President of the Maejo Alumni Association with representatives from all departments participating in the opening ceremony of the activity at Phae-Phut Building of Maejo University.
